Happy Gotcha Day!

So I have been a very bad blogger.  So bad in fact, I actually thought I was done with the blog thing.  But this week is such a special week for us and it made me realize how important it is to document thoughts, memories, and photos for Tate. So...let's try this blog thing again!:) We will update on what has been going on soon, but for now...

One year ago today we were in Ethiopia taking placement of Tate! Thinking back to that day bring back so many emotions. I remember waiting on Travis to bring Tate over to our guesthouse.  The excitement made me crazy!  When he finally arrived, he warmed up to us right away and we spent the rest of the day playing, taking TONS of pictures, and becoming a family.

Here are some pics of the day.
 Playing with dad.

 Look at that face!

 Family forever!

First outfit change.

 Playing with mom.

 We wore him out.

Bath time!

What an exciting and amazing day.  So many memories have been rolling through my mind this week about our 5 weeks in Ethiopia. We can not wait to go back.

We love you so much Tate Engida and are so thankful that God brought us together.  You are beautiful, funny, ornery, and have brought more joy to us in this past year than I ever could explain.

Happy Gotcha Day!
